Enhance your backups using AFileSync. AFileSync is a Windows service that synchronizes a source folder’s files to a backup location real-time. With AFileSync you can watch a folder, and optionally sub-folders, and replicate all modifications, additions and deletions to a backup location. AFileSync is ideal for hot-backups of files and folders. AFileSync also has the flexibility of being able to monitor multiple source and backup (destination) folder locations.

AFileSync is simple to use and configure. The AFileSync configuration utility is used to specify the source and destination folders for synchronization. The Watched folder is the monitored folder and the Destination folder is where the watched folder’s files will be copied. A File filter can also be specified to limit the files to include in the monitoring (i.e. *.doc to just capture files with the extension .doc). Optionally, AFileSync can be set to watch subfolders. Multiple (folder) ‘item sets’ can be easily added and removed, allowing for the flexibility of synchronizing separate folders.

Note: The AFileSync service needs to be restarted for configuration changes to take effect.
